The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) is the world's leading educational and scientific computing society. With cutting-edge publications, conferences, and career resources, ACM gives its members the opportunity to lead and excel in the wonderful world of computer science. First founded at the start of the computer age, ACM is now an international community with over 100,000 members. With Councils in the United States,Europe, India, and China, it is now easier than ever to network with students and professionals across the globe.
We offer members countless opportunities to grow and learn outside of the classroom. Through countless workshops, guest speakers, and seminars, we hope to better the lives of students at CSUN and give our members the extra step they need to becoming the industry professional they've always dreamed of. Not studying computer science? No problem! At ACM, we structure our workshops so that everyone can follow along, and more importantly, learn! We cultivate a supportive and inclusive environment for all members, regardless of their backgrounds.
During your time with ACM, we aim to develop students professionally by creating interactions with our industry partners. During these meetings and events, you will get an opportunity to learn about countless companies, fields, and potential employers.Here at ACM, we believe in code hard and play hard. We offer weekly social events to promote member interactivity and networking. At these events, members will be expected to have fun!
