To join our organization, CSUN Students can join through the
CSUN MataSync Portal
CSUN MataSync Portal. Please log in using your CSUN student
account in MataSync, after you log in, select the option to
request to join. After joining through MataSync, you will receive
an email from our parent organization, the Association of
Computing Machinery (ACM), which will contain directions on how to
log in to their Association of Computing Machinery website.
If you are not able to log in, please use the option 'Trouble
Logging In?' on the site and use your CSUN student email to access
your account.

There are no fees or dues. CSUN Students that join our organization through CSUN's MataSync get a free student membership that lasts for a year.
As a member, you will have access to online subscriptions, Communications of the ACM and XRDS: Crossroads ACM's Student Magazine through the ACM organization website. These are among some benefits and resources that the ACM organization provides. Our CSUN ACM Chapter will be setting up monthly events here at CSUN, including workshops, seminars, and other coding related events for all CSUN students. All members will be informed of these upcoming events through their student email and through our discord channel. We will also post any upcoming events on our CSUN ACM website's event section.

Yes, every year there is a voting event in which members vote to elect new officers for the next academic year. In addition, sometimes we might require volunteers to help us host events.
Absolutely! We encourage members to email us new ideas for activities that our club/chapter can host.
All members are expected to follow the ACM Code of Ethics and the Constitution and Bylaws of the CSUN Chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery.
While we encourage the attendance of our members at our events in order to support the chapter, these events are voluntary.
